Voice Alchemy

The voice is one of the most powerful healing tools we have and it is part of our body. We believe that when we find our song of the heart, then we feel connected to the Universe as we are vibrating in the same frequency.

“The person who has found the keynote in their voice has found the key to their life.” Sufi Hazrat Khan

All the traumas, emotions and subconscious patterns that we have experienced or learned in our lives are registered in our voice, creating a voiceprint that is unique for every individual. By working with our voices, we can release what not longer serves us and reconnect to our true essence.

“Voice is the key to find locked emotion in the body; to release, we must use the same note that locked it, the point of emotional trauma.” Fabion Maman

Wild Singing

Free flow singing or singing from your heart and in connection with Mother Earth and your true essence. I generally use the shamanic drum when I sing this way and I teach workshops about it.

Overtone singing with Belen Prado from Natural Tuning

Overtone Singing

It is an ancient technique that enables a singer to produce 2 or more sounds simultaneously with their voice. Overtones are the colours of sound. The human voice is the musical instrument richest in overtones. The singer produces a single, powerful humming sound, converting his body into a vibrating resonance chamber, and then a flute-like sound appears above the voice of the singer. Overtone singing has many therapeutic applications: Relieves stress, balances the brain hemispheres, clears the chakras, induces deep meditation, re-programmes our bodies, etc.

Chakra Toning

It consists of singing the sound of a vowel for every chakra, starting one breath and one tone at a time. They are seen in multiple religious practices as “sacred” sounds. There is a vowel sound for every chakra and it is the same one in many different cultures across the world. Regular chakra toning brings many benefits such as balancing the energy field and unblocking chakras.

Icaro Singing

In the Amazonian shamanism of the Peruvian jungle Icaro is the name for the song used by the curanderos (healers) in their rituals. It is a “musical prayer embodying the spirit of plants, animals, deities, ancestors and elemental forces”. Even if they have a strong connection to Spirit Ayahuasca, it is much broader than that as we can channel these songs without taking plant medicine, just being connected to the Earth, Spirit and our own divine essence. They are very powerful to use for our own healing and for others.
